Pioneer Farms
2023 - Present

In 2023, I decided it was time to find an outlet for my creativity and love for history and started volunteering and learning historical crafts and skills at the Jourdan-Bachman Pioneer Farms in Pflugerville, TX.

My involvement included:

-Contributing to the farm's educational mission by sharing narratives about the historical context and significance of its structures.
-Utilizing period-appropriate skills like sewing, crocheting, carding, spinning, blacksmithing, and cleaning to create an authentic and memorable visitor experience.
